potential toxins. Many products in common use include ingredients which are questionable in
ingredients. This fits well with beauticians, chiropractors, doctors, health professionals, nail salons,
and others. These products make safe alternatives to other products people are sensitive to, or to
products which contain toxins (of which there are many).
Professionals can build lucrative commissions by adding these products and services to their
portfolios. Each is a completely valid and professional presentation and not of hype. There
is no risk to your reputation, and can enhance your presence by giving options to people who
otherwise might not know of choices.
Safe, Non-Toxic Products:
Here are some potentially harmful ingredients in many common products, but not in the products
we promote:
alcohol, alpha hydroxy acid, aluminum, bar soap, bentonite or kaolin, collagen and elastin,
DEA, fluoride, glycerine, hyaluronic acid, lanolin, mineral oil, petrolatum, propylene glycol,
sodium chloride, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, talc, among others.
Some of the above ingredients are just cheap petroleum product based fillers, some are the same
as used in engine degreasers and antifreeze, another linked to Alzheimer's disease, some may
suffocate the skin's breathing surface, some dry up the skin and help in aging the skin, others
may cause harm on the eyes or in the brain, among other potential problems. We advocate SAFE
products for everyone.
My mother became a beautician later in her life, and used the normal products that were
available. We noticed her mind was changing - becoming more suspicious, inventing situations
she felt were real, becoming more paranoid. We didn't know what was happening, but have a
suspicion it was, in part, caused by all the toxic products she was using in her business,
since the personality problems surfaced in some coincidental timing with her business
venture. My mother was eventually diagnosed with dementia (one form of dementia is
Alzheimer's), and we lost her to the illness. There was no family history on her side of
any sort of dementia or illness of this sort. Then we lost her again when she passed away.
I feel a responsibility to warn people of potentially toxic products, and would like to
see safe products offered in beauty shops, nail salons, via doctor and professional
offices, etc. I don't want to see people's lives being taken away with the use of these
other products with potentially harmful ingredients. I also would like to see salons offer a
choice of safe products if people wish. I get calls from people looking for salons with safe
methods and products, and I don't have a way to recommend them if I don't see them. If you
